Scott Norman grew up with a different kind of “nutritional freedom”: EATING WHATEVER HE WANTED! You can imagine where this landed him on the nutritional map. By the time Scott was ready to enter high school he was overweight, obese, and struggling with food allergies and chronic health conditions. After graduating from Texas Christian University in Ft. Worth, TX he decided he would explore the world of lifting heavy weights. Scott began his career as a powerlifter at the age of 21 and trained in a warehouse-style gym with powerlifters and bodybuilders. After four years of competing as a powerlifter, Scott was left with a torn meniscus in both knees, two torn pectoral muscles, a torn rotator cuff, and an immobile and muscle-bound 267lb body. Not being able to train anymore, Scott began studying how to change his diet and slowly regain control of his nutrition and lifestyle choices. Within a year Scott was able to deploy various dietary strategies and several lifestyle changes in order to reach a lofty weight loss goal. He had lost 112lbs in that year and hasn’t looked back since! Nutrition science became a passion and helping others achieve similar transformations has given him endless joy.
Scott is a competitive CrossFitter, CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, and a Precision Nutrition Level 1 Coach. He is also currently a school teacher and has enjoyed an incredible career so far teaching elementary, middle school, high school, and college students. Scott resides in Spring, TX.
